Keto Cabbage Cutlet Recipe | LCHF Indian Recipes



Ingredients
1 medium sized cabbage
1 tbsp ghee for seasoning
1 tsp ginger powder
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
salt to taste
1 and half tsp pepper powder
a pinch of turmeric powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp red chilly powder
3 whole eggs
1 handful of cashews / almond coarsely ground
ghee for frying

Nutrition Summary:
This makes 14 total cutlets. Each cutlet comes out to be 46 Calories, 4g Fats, 0.5g Net Carbs, and 2g Protein.

  1. i love this recipe but the nett carbs can't be right. From checking around on the internet, i get this:
    Am I doing something wrong? I deducted fiber from total carbs to get nett carbs. ie Carbs – fibre = nett carbs

    3 whole eggs , large 1.16

    1 handful of almond coarsely ground say 30g 2.42

    ghee for frying say 1 cup 0

    TOTAL NETT CARBS 40.25

    If 14 servings, NETT CARBS per serving is 2.875

    still a great recipe, but need to watch your consumption, maybe eat 2 and save the rest for later.

  2. NICE! I never thought about replacing the potato in potato pancakes with cabbage. I have been on KETO for a year and a half. Obviously you can season and flavor it any way you like. So we just need the eggs and almond flour to bind and add in whatever herds and spices correct? I have never used almond flour or coconut flour. Are they they best binders or are there any other low carb products that are wheat flour substitutes that we can use?????

  3. If you want to lose fat, you shouldn't compromise your well-being with the keto diet. I recommend getting a personalized diet. I've had great success with the Agoge diet for example.

  4. My own experience suggests that the ketogenic diet is over-hyped. A good diet ougt to be easy to adhere to and be healthy. Agoge diet is a good option, I lost a lot of belly fat.

  5. it was really good, n I made seasoning myself…for the dipping sauce.. anyone can try this if u like tangy.
    1.add dark soy sauce in a plain cup abt 1 teaspoon
    2.lemon juice abt 2 teaspoon
    3.liltle turmeric and chilli powder.
    4.add powdered groundnut…..and then mix all…….STORE IN FRIDGE FOR 2-4MINS
    AND ITS READY TO EAT
    ITS REALLY GOOD ^_^…

  7. keto makes u feel to watch such videos , i njoi watching them and it makes me feel m having it right now. thats d emotion. but in practicality i avoid doing that mess anymore, just stick to eggs and salads . yo

  8. hey, u added garlic and ginger and masala , that amounts to min 60grams of carbs wid added ingredients . its low carb , n wont b a keto meal .

  9. You’ll be out of Ketosis as soon as you eat this, cashew and garlic have very high carb content, other than that ginger and almond too are rich in net carb. If you consume CRB more than 20 gm in a day you’ll not be in ketosis and would just be adding up more fat in your body. This recipe itself seems it has more than 20 gms of carbohydrates. Stay away from this recipe if you’re doing keto diet.
