just a quick tip on the can opener. You may want to get the one that just removes the seal (smooth edge) of the can rather than one biting into the metal. You can’t see it but the can opener you are using is grinding the aluminum can to open and little shards end up in your food. Aluminum is very toxic to the body so that would be a great addition to your kitchen tools to maintain your healthy meals.

You can also use thin woven kitchen towels instead of paper towels. Vegetables wrapped in towels can last up to two weeks, even greens such as chard.

Because I worry about sugar and preservatives, I've tried making homemade apple sauce in the past to use in some of your recipes, but the consistency is never quite right. So what do you look for in an apple sauce?
