Paleo Butter Naan & Garlic naan | Paleo diet recipes



Naan is traditionally made in a tandoor oven. In paleo / LCHF / Keto there is no need to do that. A simple pan is enough.
There is nothing special than making homemade healthy, delicious food and especially Naan in paleo diet an extra special.
I used to make with cheese and the naan comes out very well and this time I tried with psyllium husk, its a bit soft but nice tasty.
Let us see how to make this simple naan.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup almond flour or
( 1/2 cup home made coconut flour)
1 Tbsp psyllium husk
1/2 tsp bakling powder
1 Tbsp butter
Salt

Garlic spread:
2 tsp butter
2 tsp Chopped garlic
Coriander chopped

Direction:

Garlic spread:
Mix the ingredients and keep it aside

Combine all the dry ingredients and add butter, stir.

Add a cup of hot water, make is as a idli batter and stir well, it forms thick batter, cover and rest for 10 mins.

Now the batter looks like a dough.

Divide into 4 equal parts.

Gently roll it by keeping in between 2 parchment papers, make round, flat thick chapati.

Heat a pan and cook the naan for 1 min each side over low to medium flame.

Once done apply butter on top for butter naan, apply garlic paste for garlic naan.

  1. I recreated this recipe with coconut flour….but I didn鈥檛 like it…it had some sweetness and was not cooked properly even after longgg time…i made with lotzz of expectation鈽癸笍鈽癸笍
